Carolyn joined the NLA in 2009 when, as a consequence of expanding her rental portfolio, she found that she needed more support with the ever increasing challenges of operating in the Private Rental sector.

A successful businesswoman who recently sold her manufacturing company and now works as a Business Growth Consultant, Carolyn has been a landlord for 10 years and has a mix of Industrial and Private Housing properties in Stockport and Manchester. Her tenants are mainly Students and Young Professionals.

Having been President of Stockport Chamber of Commerce Carolyn is passionate about the value of business people, like landlords, joining together under the NLA umbrella to meet, share experiences and gain valuable insight from speakers with both local and national knowledge.

"I am keen to help set up a Local Branch network so that landlords can influence local policy and can work together to raise standards and so win recognition of the growing professionalism of the sector"
