Head of Marketing & Sales

Paul has almost 20 years experience in various marketing, direct marketing and business development positions (Financial Services, Charity & Membership/Trade Associations)

During his time at NLA he has overseen membership double in size through improved recruitment practices; established a solid brand presence in the UK; personally introduced a number of strategic relationships with many third-party businesses for the delivery of NLA branded services to ALL landlords (not just the immediate NLA membership); increased advertising revenue for the association’s membership magazine and introduced a Recognised Supplier Scheme; all providing further routes to market for NLA, added-value services to existing and new members as well as providing an additional income stream for NLA.

In December 2010 he concluded a 9 month long project to introduce a completely new website platform as part his wider review of the NLA’s online marketing strategy and he is also proud to have called for, be instrumental in the decision to proceed with, and is currently working on the business implications thereof, the NLA’s recent decision to become a representative body for both landlords AND letting agents in the private rented sector.

His time at NLA, RUSI and BAR has afforded him 9 years senior marketing and business development experience in professional membership / trade organisations and this is supported by a further 10 years senior marketing experience in financial services sector.
