Paul White

Local Representative

Paul White has been an NLA member for over five years, gaining NLA Accreditted status along the way and membership of the Fit To Rent Accreditation schemes provided by the local authorities in his region.

Paul comes from a long background of managing his own businesses and is still actively running a substantial wholesale clothing company. He has been a landlord since 2001, building up a private portfolio of over 60 tenants in 12 properties and manages additional properties of other landlords in the Cheltenham and Gloucester area. Paul specialises in HMO type of housing and has extensive experience with student tenants.

“The private rented sector is frequently associated with poor quality accommodation and my recent appointment as NLA Representative gives me an opportunity to push for higher standards in this sector where they are required. There is a clear need for a coordinated approach by landlords , tenants, local authorites and national government. A strong and active National Landlords Association is a huge step in this positive direction, through recruiting a wide and representative membership, keeping them informed of relevant issues, and presenting a coherent argument from Landlords to the governing bodies.”
