Property to Let

SPECIAL FEATURE: Finding a Tenant

Renting out your Property

from "UK Landlord" magazine, January 2007

photo > kitchen interiorIs your Property ready to rent?

Furnished or unfurnished? Decisions about whether you let your property furnished or unfurnished will depend largely on the market, and therefore what tenants are looking for. The main point to note is that any furniture you provide must comply with the fire regulations. And that is also the case if the tenants bring in their own furniture.

If you can use modern white goods and supply appliances and equipment that are in good condition, you are less likely to get calls about things that are not working in the property.
