How the universities can help

photo > student on phoneOnce you have decided to rent to students, the first thing to do is contact your local university's accommodation office.As well as being able to answer any specific questions you may have, many accommodation offices provide information packs for private landlords.

Most universities also run accreditation schemes which landlords can join by agreeing to abide by a code of conduct or good practice. We look at the main ways universities can help landlords letting to students.
