Most landlords know that recent legal and regulatory changes have transformed the landscape for letting private residential property.

They might even think that maybe it was all over, and that they would be left alone - at least for a while - to adapt to the new regime. Sadly, they would be wrong. Siren voices are still out there, trying to prod the government into yet another bout of regulation under the guise of 'improving the sector' and 'rooting out the rogues'.
