Edinburgh Landlords’ Day

NLA Scotland had a very successful day at a recent landlord event organised by Edinburgh Council's Letwise team.

According to David Kendall, one of the NLA's three Regional Representatives in Scotland, there was great interest in the NLA; many landlords wanted to share their concerns about the controversial landlord registration scheme in Scotland, the impacts of the new Local Housing Allowance rules, and find out where they could seek advice on landlord issues.

As a result, more than 40 landlords joined the NLA, strengthening the already substantial numbers of NLA members in Scotland.

The Letwise team is highly regarded by many local landlords as it provides support and assistance to private landlords, letting agents and tenants in Edinburgh, with the aim of improving the quality and management of private-rented housing in the city.
