Landlord Development programme launched
from "UK Landlord" magazine, January 2008
The NLA's new Landlord Library website is now live! The web address is www.nlalandlordlibrary.org.uk , and access to the landlord resource is free for members.
The site has been developed to provide landlords with 24/7 access to up-to-date information and advice on all aspects of letting residential property. It also allows landlords and property professionals to follow a structured programme so as to continuously build on their professional development in the private-rented sector.
To encourage broad take-up of high professional standards in the private-rented sector, non-members of the NLA can pay an annual fee of £40 to access the resources of the site and follow the training scheme of continuous professional development (CPD).
The NLA has worked with ANUK, the organisation that promotes accreditation in private-rented residential accommodation with the aim that successful completion of certain modules of the online CPD tool will be recognised evidence of landlords' competence relevant for local authority landlord accreditation schemes.
To get a taste of the type of useful information contained on the user-friendly site, you can sign in as a guest user. NLA members who want to get going and use the site can log in with their usual membership details.
