Completion of Section 8 – Notice seeking possession (form No.3)

Write clearly in BLACK ink

photo > signing formRent Arrears:

When you are seeking possession due to arrears in rent, it is suggested that you include a schedule, laid out like a page from a rent book, showing the dates at which rent became due, the dates any moneys were received and the accrued arrears. This will give the Judge a clear picture of why you are in court. This schedule should be clearly titled (E.g. Schedule of Rental Payments, Second Floor Flat, 78 Tachbrook Street, SW1). Mark it for reference purposes, e.g. ‘X’.

Section 1:

Write the Tenant’s name as it appears on the tenancy agreement, if a joint tenancy, include all the tenants’ names. With a joint tenancy you are only required to serve your notice on one tenant, however it may help if all the joint tenants receive a copy.
