  "Proposed Landlord Licensing in Newham"
  The London Borough of Newham is proposing to introduce compulsory licensing of all landlords across the borough, charging a fee per property. With the consultation open until 4th December 2011, Sir Robin will outline Newham’s proposals and brief landlords on why they think licensing is necessary.
• Richard Lambert - NLA CEO
  "The Potential Impact for Landlords of Selective Licensing"
  Richard will present the case against these proposals outlining what the NLA believes will be the potential impact for landlords across the borough. He will also outline what the NLA believes are more effective strategies for dealing with rogue landlords.
• A panel chaired By David Salusbury (NLA Chairman) with Richard Lambert (NLA Chief Executive), Sir Robin Wales (Mayor of Newham), Richard Blanco (NLA East London Representative)
  "Question and Answer Session"
  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and debate the proposed scheme with the panel. This will be a great chance to find out how licensing might affect your business, how you can take part in the consultation and to discuss the implications with representatives of the London Borough of Newham. There will be an opportunity for networking over tea and coffee. If you are not a member you can join the NLA at the meeting or just come along to find out more.
