  The Private Sector Housing Team are responsible for the enforcement of some laws covering the landlord and tenant relationship. Tenant requests for inspections of premises and dealing with any hazards identified, are often the trigger for our engagement with landlords. We advise on opportunities to maintain and improve property standards for the benefit of both landlord and tenant, although some situations allow no discretion in taking enforcement action.

  Airtech can provide Landlords with cost effective solutions to the problems associated with condensation and black mould, providing tenants with a healthier environment whilst protecting the landlords investment.

  The pressures of Housing Need Mid Devon are illustrated by more than 2000 registered on our system for accommodation. We assist a large number of people to secure accommodation in the private sector, but there is an ever increasing demand for shared accommodation following changes to Local Housing Allowance (LHA).
