Save Housing in York

Do you let properties to 3 or more unrelated tenants in York? If the answer is yes then you let a shared house - A House in Multiple Occupation (HMO).

York City Council intends on limiting groups of people living together in ‘family homes’ by restricting planning permission for new shared houses through Article 4 Directions.

Please support us in opposing this move by joining the campaign. Download and send a letter to the decision-maker at York City Council – Executive Member for Neighbourhood Services, Cllr Ann Reid.

You can also fill in your details and register your opposition with your local Member of Parliament on the main campaign page.

We are also running a Special Article 4 Branch Meeting on 22 March 2011 so please do come along and air your views directly to Bristol City Council officials.
