Tenancy Deposit Protection in Scotland

The Scottish Government has recently published a report on its progress in estbalishing a Tenancy Deposit Protection in Scotland.

The Tenancy Deposit Schemes (Scotland) Regulations 2011 came into force on 7 March 2011, following approval by the Scottish Parliament. Scottish Ministers are now considering proposals for the operation of tenancy depost schemes but are still unable to confirm when any schemes will become operational.
