Our Policy team represents members' views and interests at a local, national and European level.

We work to influence policy making through Government, parliamentarians, regulators and other interest bodies to ensure a fair and balanced private rented sector. 

As well as work to influence policy the NLA also campaigns on topics where we believe urgent change is needed.

The Policy team's work covers a diverse range of issues under five broad categories: 

• Justice and Legal;
• Built Environment;
• Investment and Taxation;
• Shared Housing; and
• Welfare.

In each section you'll find out about our views on specific issues, as well as what we want to see happen in that area, including our recent work on that issue.
