The inaugural NLA Landlord Live event took place at Olympia, London from 10-11 May, running alongside the Professional Property Show. Thousands of visitors descended on Olympia to meet with over 300 suppliers from all areas of the private rented sector and beyond.

A strong NLA team was on hand to meet members at their stand, which took centre stage on the first floor of the show.

David Salusbury, Chairman of the National Landlords Association commented: “NLA Landlord Live enabled us to talk to many new and existing members face-to-face, an opportunity usually reserved for regional meetings and events, so we’d like to thank the many landlords who visited the show.

"The informative content of the show was specifically designed with landlords in mind.  Many attended the seminars and the live property auctions.  For those unable to get to the show, the NLA website has up-to-date information and advice that landlords will find helpful in managing their lettings businesses.”

The NLA’s advice line team were on-hand throughout both days, as well as many key suppliers who provide members with an attractive range of discounted services and products.

A series of free CPD seminars were also on offer, providing important advice on Local Housing Allowance changes and how to survive – and prosper – in the current market.

The live auctions were proved successful with the many visitors attending the event, with dozens of properties from around the country going under the hammer during four rounds of bidding.

The show culminated with a gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel where the industry’s key contributors were celebrated. The Apprentice contestant Jamie Lester introduced the evening’s proceedings, with entertainment from X Factor Finalists TreyC Cohen and Katie Waissel.
