Introduction

Private residential landlords are legally required to provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) when renting out a home to new tenants.

An EPC gives you information on the energy efficiency and environmental impact of your property. It also gives your tenant an estimation of how much it is likely to cost them to run the property. The report includes recommendations to improve the energy efficiency of your property. EPCs must be undertaken by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.

Benefits

  • Fully accredited assessors
  • Fast non-invasive assessments
  • Completely compliant EPCs
  • Dedicated helpline to answer any of your questions
  • NLA Members save £10 per EPC
