The Free Business Current Account is available to businesses with an annual business turnover up to £1 million. For customers starting their own business, the Business Builder Current Account is available to businesses that have been trading for less than 6 months and with an annual business turnover of less than £500k during the free banking period.

Free Business Current Account

As a member of the National Landlords Association you can gain access to award winning banking at preferential rates. The Free Business Current Account gives you free and unlimited:

• Cheques issued and deposited, BACS payments, Direct Debits and standing orders (excludes CHAPS payments, change-giving and other non-standard charges).
• ATM withdrawals

Plus:

• Deposit up to £3,000 cash per month free, then pay only 45p per £100 thereafter
• Bank online, over the telephone, using deposit machines at Alliance & Leicester branches or at any Post Office® branch

Unlike most banks, they don’t charge a monthly fee. All they ask is that payments into your account total at least £1,000 each month (excluding transfers between your Alliance & Leicester accounts) - if they don’t they’ll simply charge you £5 for that month only.

Business Builder Current Account

The first 2 years in business are the hardest and that’s why the Business Builder Current Account from Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank offers members of the National Landlords Association free and unlimited day-to-day banking including: cheques issued and deposited, Direct Debits and standing orders, automated transactions and cash deposits (excludes CHAPS payments, change-giving and other non-standard charges). You can bank online, over the telephone, using deposit machines at Alliance & Leicester branches or at any Post Office® branch.
