"It took forever"
***Response from Landlord Action***
We received an instruction from Susan, and unfortunately through our solicitors we could not issue the claim straight away, as there was various information that was missing from the instruction. This information was needed from the client to put in the claim. Once the accelerated claim was sent to court, there was a delay from the court issuing the claim. We successfully obtained a possession order for the client in January and the client obtained possession of the room. The client raised concern over the delay, which unfortunately is a problem, on cases, where you need information and where you are reliant on courts (which are getting busier and busier, especially with court closures). As a matter of good faith we refunded the client in full, with Landlord Action paying for court fees and solicitors fees, even though it was no fault of Landlord Action’s.
