NLA Conveyancing

Buying or selling a property is widely regarded as a very stressful time and finding a reliable law firm to look after your property purchase or sale is high on your list of priorities.

NLA EPCs

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are a legal requirement for the majority of rental properties. Legislation states from 1st October 2008, an Energy Performance Certificate is required whenever a building in the social or private rented sectors is let to a new tenant.

An EPC assess the energy performance of a property, grading it from ‘A’ to ‘G’ with A being the most energy efficient and G being the least. The EPC must be undertaken by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.
